Community Impact:Redstick C.A.R.E.S. is committed to building a resilient community by improving the community’s behavioral, mental, and social health through human connection. They accomplish their mission by providing 40+ programs weekly at no or low cost to the participant. Thirty of their programs are specifically designed to include people with special needs. Their most beloved program is the Cares Team Program. The Cares Team is a group of teens and young adults with special needs who are completing or have completed their secondary schooling experience, but who are not yet ready for independent living or the workplace at large. These extraordinary young people report to “work” each day at Redstick CARES to participate in programming specially designed to meet their needs.
