Breea Carter serves as Director of Operations for Mary’s Hands Network, a volunteer doula organization in Louisiana, where she leads the coordination of volunteers and develops systems that expand access to maternal and postpartum care for families. As a bilingual Dominican American, she co-developed and co-instructed Proyecto Bienvenida, which serves the Spanish-speaking communities of Louisiana in hopes that access to maternal healthcare is never limited by language. In her free time, she volunteers on several boards and also volunteers with several organizations, including Volunteers in Public Schools.
