Allie is currently the Director of Alumni Strategy for Teach for America Greater Baton Rouge (TFA GBR), where she has the privilege of working with the 200+ TFA alumni in our region who are leading from every corner of the city. Prior to joining the staff of Teach for America, Allie was the Chief of Programs for the Baton Rouge Youth Coalition, where she oversaw the day-to-day success and long-term growth of the programming model, as well as growing and establishing both in-school and afterschool partnerships.

Allie is a native of Albany, NY, and a 2014 graduate of the University of Vermont. She found her way to Baton Rouge via Philadelphia in 2017, after serving with two AmeriCorps programs—Communities in Schools Philadelphia (’14-’15) and City Year Philadelphia (’15-’17)—to join Teach for America as a corps member, where she taught 5th grade math and science at Greenbrier Elementary for two years, and then made her way back to City Year as an Impact Manager with City Year Baton Rouge.

Outside of work, Allie enjoys spending time with her husband, Jake, and dog, Chicken, and taking advantage of everything Baton Rouge has to offer! She is a proud Leadership Baton Rouge Class of 2023 alumna, participated in Forum’s 225 Baton Rouge Leadership program, as well as BRAF’s Development Fellows. She continues to mentor with the Baton Rouge Youth Coalition and serves on the board of the Unified Jewish Congregation of Baton Rouge.
